Bold Predictions: 2022 Edition

I have great news. College baseball content is going to be unreal in 2022. The granddaddy of us all, D1Baseball, has made incredible strides in the ever changing world of NIL, our friends at the 11.7 podcast are growing at an incredible rate, and we here at CWS247 have made some exciting changes. Last year, I invited two dear friends, Reggie and Mitch, to join the team. You guys learned to love Reggie and tolerate Mitch. This year we’ve expanded even more, growing from 3 contributors, to now over 20. Our goal is to provide consistent, quality, and entertaining content to you all on a weekly basis. Times are changing for the better, and I can’t wait to see what the future of CWS247 holds.

I asked all of our new writers, and old friends Reggie and Mitch to provide me with 3-5 bold predictions for the 2022 season. We all know you guys keep receipts, and there is no better initiation process than the slow burning embarassment of being wrong about a prediction. Just ask Mitch, who felt the wrath of Starkville after he said Mississippi State didn’t deserve to be a national seed. I’m sure a little piece of Mitch is engraved on the Bulldogs national championship rings. Today, we breed the next Mitch.

I went ahead and provided you all with everyone’s Twitter username so you can easily track them down when their predictions fall well short of reality.

And not really a bold prediction.. but between Hayden Dunhurst and Logan Tanner, folks are gonna be watching the two best catchers in the country compete in the same division.
